Pakistan is renowned for natural beauty — from its Arabian Sea coast in the south to the Himalaya Mountains in the north, but the nation also has a profound dark side. Pakistan is one of the top ten countries in which persecution and discrimination against Christians is most severe.

In this population which is 95% Muslim, Christians are a beleaguered minority; evangelicals make up less than 1% of the Pakistan’s citizens. Yet God’s Spirit knows no barriers, and many people are coming to saving faith in Christ through the ministry of our national partners who often maintain ministries in multiple cities and rural villages.

FMI also helps to maintain a network of safe houses for persecuted believers who have been abused and rejected by their families.
